It does not, I have an unused pump that I have no intention of using, but that pump doesn't have the hose for the anvil kit, nor the connections, it's just 1/2" NPT male at both ends. I was asking $80 for that, but you'd have to take care of getting the hoses and all the connections.

You might not be able to reach all of the fermenter to clean - that's at least 1 reason. Another is that it increases the contact time and temperature.
