    i'm not so sure it would be a very pronounced difference in the end product, but black bean paste and gochujang are both delicious. i'd be happy with a tasty liquid version of either.

    i use hand sanitizer whenever i'm going to touch post boil stuff. maybe it's unnecessary, maybe not. either way, it doesn't hurt anything to do so.

    buy a cheap kit and have at it! only upgrade non-plastic stuff when you know you're going to keep brewing consistently.

    i imagine it would precipitate out too quickly. a little oat milk in the glass after you pour one might be interesting, though. or disgusting, who knows until you try.

    i always do a single pint trial first just to see if i'm way off base. it doesn't even need to be the beer in question, just add progressive additions to any pint of beer, to see how much it takes to taste the difference. then scale up to total volume.

    brown sugar is very sweet by comparison, so a little will go a looong way in a finished beer. sweet beer is pretty gross (IMO).

    this is what i do. it's the only 'lawn treatment' i ever do and my yard is green for longer in those hot summer months than any of my neighbors'.

    biggest let down i've ever experienced from a beer. it was so over-hyped there was no way it could live up to the reputation.

    the only time i've had any sulfer taste was from abusing lager yeast. it was very subtle, so not unpleasant for the style, but never did fade.
