I had a similar issue to you. I just couldn't get the fresh hoppy aroma/flavor that I wanted. I was also creating a balanced profile from RO water. I think that is your problem. If you put it in a bag I think it would be fine. The main problem dry hopping in a keg is all the hops debris.

It really isn't bad. We can get high point beer but we have to buy it at the liquor store rather than the grocery store. The biggest downside to living here is that we can't get high point beers on tap.
