I'm going to try the auto siphon. I have the hardest time deciding what to buy. I don't want cheap crap. I'd rather spend the extra money up front and get a good product.

How is a starter different from rehydrating dry yeast?

I've done a few batches so far and I have only used dry safale yeast. Do you guys prefer liquid yeast? What are the pros/cons that you guys see between the two?

My beer has been fermenting for two weeks and the fermentation is at a point where I can keg it. It would be kegged at 2 weeks after brewing. Is that ok? I seem to remember seeing some people say they wait 3 weeks minimum. Thoughts?

Ok. Thanks. So with a blowoff do you typically remove it after a few days and go down to the typical 3 piece airlock?

Ok. I have a lot of overflow through the airlock. I know, I should have had a blow off tube. My question is, should I add one now? Do nothing? Just clean the airlock? If I pull off the airlock and rubber cap do I need to be really fast in the replacement/cleaning?
