    Where to get "Stubby" bottles?

They make beer look so delicious, probably because it is.

    Where to get "Stubby" bottles?

And now I like the Siren better. Thanks for doing that man, now I gotta go look to see if Iowa has any of that Michigan beer.

    Where to get "Stubby" bottles?

I like the round looking bottle like that Siren bottle. It looks almost exactly like Red Stripe.

I would like to know what brown sugar would be like.

    Where to get "Stubby" bottles?

Hmm, Sierra Nevada's bottles do look pretty sweet. Maybe I will go for those haha. Thanks for the input people.

    Where to get "Stubby" bottles?

I'm looking for some short bottles, much like Red Stripe bottles. I've always loved the look of them. Does anyone know where to get them? I've heard that you can take Red Stripe bottles and soak them in something to get the paint to come off. But If I can just purchase them that would probably...

Worst beer you have ever made/had.

What is it? I would have to say my least favorite beer that I have ever had would have to be "Hop Wrangler". It's a local beer from Iowa that tasted very very bad. Almost like grass.

Once I get them bottled up I assume they are going to change their tune to "Drink meeeee drink meeeee". I will be happy to oblige that though.

The bottles are saying they are thirsty and want to have beer in them. That or I'm going nuts.

So it's been 8 days since I poured my wort into the fermenter. SO hard to wait, but I think I'm going to try to make it to day 14.

So how did you like Iowa State? I'm going there for Graphic Design And should be done soon. We played Utah this year in football (sadly we lost) but Utah was fun to watch. I'm originally from Des Moines so I have been in this state all my life, what part are you from?

Thanks for the info, It might not be Kreusen maybe just bubbles or something. I think for my next project (after the blonde ale I got from Mr. Beer) I'm going to try a wheat beer. Since wheat beers are my favorite beers! Looking forward to reading your easy recipe.

    Grapefruitwein?

I'll letcha' know how it goes, and if it's any good or tastes like crap haha. Maybe I'll do a write up with pictures.

    Grapefruitwein?

Cool, thanks for posting that. I think I'm going to give it a try with some grapefruit. Or maybe I should just stick to lemonade.

    Grapefruitwein?

I'm a noob too, that's why I'm posting this. But you might be right with the whole "killing of yeast" thing. Also I don't know how to get it to taste good.

    Grapefruitwein?

Thanks for the advice, I'd never heard about anything like a hard grapefruit cider or whatnot. I can find some organic grapefruit juice at my local store and thought it might be a weird thing to try at some point.
  19. IowaState

    Grapefruitwein?

Is it possible? And would it taste good? Yes, I'm new and never have done anything like this before, but it sounds good to me.

Ha ha yeah it's still open, although I've never been there. What was your major when you were here and are you from Utah or are you from Iowa? I like going Olde Maine for some good local brews.
