    Getting odors out of fermenters

All my fementers smell like hops, even after PBW, Idophor, etc, etc. I just keep brewing. Doesn't seem to get into the brews...otherwise I'd save some money.

    Brew with coffee

I did this recently with the cold brew approach. Added between 6 to 8oz of cold brew when i racked to a keg. The coffee was very present, but not over powering.

    [OT] HAM Radio Folks?

Seriously all you really need is a 1/2 or 5/8 wavelength vertical wire that is outside your RV. Elevation is good. You could attach it to a painter's pole and lean it against the outside of your RV.

    [OT] HAM Radio Folks?

One of the nice things about the dedicated WX radios is the ability to alert based on geographic location. I'd think that a random wire, plus RCA connector might solve your metal frame issues. Maybe.

I just wrapped up a nearly imperial 8 gallon batch of IPA with mosaic, centennial, and columbus.

Double IPA just started fermenting but seems pretty violently

After a while you get an instinctive feel for when you should use a blow off tube versus an airlock.

    Craft Malts for Session Beers

I've used almost all the Mecca malts. Going out to Mecca Grade about once a year. I think they are more flavorful. I used some Opal 22 last week. It's got a biscuit taste. A member here said he reduced the amount of Mecca munich because it was so flavorful. I personally don't back the...

How often and at what volume is everyone brewing?

I'm making 6.5 gallon batches every 1 to 2 weeks. This keeps all my kegs full. Been inviting more people over to drink all those, to keep something open.

    The Wheat of Doom

I let the bucket drain for about six hours. I tried compressing the grain bed, but that didn't go very far. Mash efficiency turned out to be about like 85% +/- 2%.

    The Wheat of Doom

This is a spike mash bucket. I let it mash overnight. Pulled the bin up to drain. It's draining....just very slowly. But I have all day.

    The Wheat of Doom

Im refining a recipe that uses some unmalted spring wheat. So i got really frustrated with my malt muncher tonight and threw the wheat berries into the blender, then into my spike mash pot. This wheat is 25% of my recipe. I think Im doomed. (yes, i used rice hulls and enzymes on this.)

Will a single 1800w induction burner be enough for 3g batches?

Yes, it will totally work. A lot of the chinese boil & mash clones are 1500-1600 watts for 5-6 gallon batches.

Voss Kveik pitch to pour time?

My experience has been that Voss seems to do something to the hops and my brews with Voss are less hoppy than those without. I've also learned that anything with Voss changes a lot in taste over 2 or 3 weeks after kegging. Just my experience...
