    Glycol chilling FastFerment?

Wow, just looked at the Brewjacket and that is really expensive. You could get a fermentation fridge with controller for that and do two carboys at the same time...

    Glycol chilling FastFerment?

Yes, this coil is easy to remove since it comes with a stopper. You can dry hop right through that way.

    SA-04 Wow!

SO4 is great. Love it in the English ales, porters and the like.

    Glycol chilling FastFerment?

You would have to drill a hole in the lid to use a #9 or #10 stopper, but I use this in my fermenter and it works very well with ice water. I can do lagers and ales no issue. With glycol, you could probably even cold crash to the low to mid 30's F...

Anyone else go from carboys to keg fermentation

Just did my first in a Corny keg and I was amazed at how much better my IPA tastes. It's my standard recipe and I can definitley taste a fuller body a much more punchy hops flavor and aroma. Can't believe I waited this long to do it as I have had spare kegs sitting around for a couple years.

    Your experience with Citra

Don't like it by itself. Has an almost sweet orange type flavor I don't like that way. I like to combine it with Cascade or Amarillo as mentioned.

    Glycol Temp Control Set Up

I wouldn't get too concerned about the size of the coil. I use a single loop that is 22 inches long (roughly 38 inches total submerged) and I can cool to low 40's using only ice water. If I had glycol at 15 or 20 F I'm sure I could cold crash to low to mid-30's no problem.

    COLD pitch temp Ale

You'll be fine, but I'd recommend that you set the belt to low 60's as well.

    Corny Level Sensor

I see. It looks like the float is designed to tell you when it moves as the keg is almost empty, but it does not look like it will tell you the level all along. You'd need keg level indicators for that.

    Sorry, don't see any pictures

    Water chillers for fermentation control

I have been using these as well and I can vouch for its effectiveness.

Anybody else this lazy and cheap?

I love it, air pump like the college days. Remember having he buddies over the next morning to kick the keg before it totally oxidized?? Now I only day drink in Mexico! Ah, the good 'ol days.

DIY/poor man's floating diptube for clear beer

You need to use thick walled silicoe tube to keep it from kinking.

Kegtron Wireless Keg Monitor - Live on Kickstarter

For my Cornelius kegs, I'd probably rather go with www.ballandkeg.com keg level units for $20 each. I could see how this would be nice for commercial kegs though.

    Brewjacket feedback

I've only had mine for 5 or 6 weeks and I've done one lager and a couple ales. It must be relatively new on their site because I just found it recently. Actually, I was surprised how quickly it was able to drop temps, since the stainless loop is only a couple feet in each direction and my pump...

    Brewjacket feedback

Sure picture below. The rubber stopper fits in a hole I drilled in my bucket lid. It also fits my Fermonster that I recently got from Morebeer. The blow off tube is on the left and it's larger tubing. The cooling piece is in the middle (it is a loop, but you can't see too well). The...

Where is the cheapest place to buy DME?

I'm a fan of Moorebeer. Free shipping if you can get the order up to $59.

    CO2 pressure drop question....

You must be looking at the cylinder side gauge on your regulator. It will read roughly 725 psi at room temperature and will drop to 500 psi or so if you keep it in your kegerator and chill it. That is normal. You should set your outlet pressure to roughly 10 to 12 psi for normal serving...

    Ultra-budget fermentation cooling system

I do this essentially, but I bought a rubber stopper that had a stainless loop inserted through the stopper. The stopper fits into a hole I drilled in my bucket lid. I insulate with a blanket, use a 60 GPH fountain pump, and an Inkbird. Works like an absolute charm and I can lager no issues as...

    Brewjacket feedback

I bought a small stainless coil imbedded in a rubber stopper. It seals through a whole I drilled in my bucket lid and the coil goes down to the bottom of my bucket. I then pump ice water through that with an Inkbird controller. I have to change ice jugs once a day for ales and twice a day for...
