    opinions on these kegs please

If you're looking to buy new, I think you should look at these: http://stores.kegconnection.com/Detail.bok?no=134 Not as *shiny*, but much, much less expensive, even with shipping.

    Brewing TV

There definitely seems to be a "bigger" story here; mass exodus from BTV. What's up with that? Inquiring minds want to know. :D

    Obnoxious Football Trash Talk Thread

Depends on who you ask... Steeler-Bengal game is big for me today, but after watching the first quarter, I think we (the Steelers) may need a Christmas miracle. If Worthlessberger could just stop throwing interceptions, we might just have a chance. :o I'm just glad I've got homebrew to drink...

    The end of the world?

I think it's all a bunch of hooey and the Mayans just got tired of counting for their calendar. But I'm glad I've got some homebrew ready to drink if it does happen! :tank:

Home Depot Kegerator Sale TODAY Only

The model numbers of the Home Depot one and the Walmart one are the same (KRS-2100), and the reviews on both sites are definitely a turn off. Would probably be better to get the $117 Walmart Igloo fridge and build your own.

How bad was your first home brew?

My first was horrible: a 2 year old Mr. Beer kit with no temperature control whatsoever at the end of summer. Blech. But it got me curious as to how to improve. My second one is just finishing in the bottles: a 5 gallon Northern Brewer Saison de Noel. I couldn't wait and sampled after...

New post a picture of your pint

My first 5 gallon brew; Northern Brewer's Saison de Noel extract kit. It's only been in the bottle a week, but curiosity got the better of me, and I had to try it. It's yummy, and I bet it's only going to get better. Crappy cell phone pics, and they don't do the color justice at all, but...

    So who's brewing this weekend?

I'm doing a Cream Ale extract this weekend, but SWMBO says I have to wait until Monday. I did bottle my Saison and rack my Caribou Slobber, though. Looking forward to January; planning my first AG.
