I ended up with the enclosure from Electric Brewery Supply: http://www.ebrewsupply.com/more/enclosures/encl3x3x15.html It's a nice quality enclosure. VERY sturdy.

Unfortunately, work has gotten in the way more than I'd like, but so far I have all part purchased, the control panel laid out and the kettle laid out. Next will be drilling the kettle and control panel. Hopefully in the next two weeks or so.

I've got 2 cans of Heady Topper left that I will be drinking and attempting to harvest yeast from (starting a frozen yeast farm, of sorts). How big should my steps be for 2 cans? I only have a 1L and 3L erlenmeyer flask to use, so I was thinking the following. Est. starting yeast 4 billion...

Yeah, I'm aware, but I got other stuff I can throw in as well, like westy 12, if I find the right person. Worst case, I'll have more Heady Topper to drink and harvest yeast from! :D

Same. I had a tasting with several friends with Westy-12, St. Bernardus 12, Westmalle 10 and Rocheford 10. Westy-12 was agreed to be the tastiest, but the Bernardus 12 was very close.

Well then I should be able to trade a bottle of Johnnie Walker ($40) for that $3600 bottle of scotch on the private market since rarity doesn't count! SOLD! :D

You're basically saying that rarity has nothing to do with value, which, at least to me, is false. In the end, with bartering/trading, an item is only worth what you can get for it, so it will always be up for debate, but perceived value is still value.

I have 4 bottles left myself, but I'm still on the fence about trading one or two since it's very hard to calculate fair value for a trade.
