I just did my first AG and just in the morning put a large garbage can of water into my refridgerator(a commercial style one) and then placed the wort into the water about 6 or so hours later, worked well. Cooled the entire wort within about 45 minutes. Daum

Ended up doing the Haus Brew basically, except one pound more of the 2 row, and crystal 20 instead of 10. Didn't take enough liquid out of the MLT and only ended up with 5 gallons in the fermenter, not 5.5. Looks and smelt good, just wish I knew if it was going to be stronger or what...

going pretty well so far, right now going from the MLT to the boiling pot....did have one victim, my hydrometer, was moving it out and it fell and broke, so no gravity reading for htis one....hope i'm somewhat efficient....more to come. Daum

So just tried the first batch that is far from done bottle conditioning and it was great. Has been in the bottle since Friday(so 5 days), and it was fairly carbonated(not to optimal amount yet), and was a bit bitter, but I love really bitter beers. Pumped to get more done! Daum
