Brewer from the iGulu Beer Machine

Is this where we are going with home brew? Does everyone want it to eventually be like my Keurig? Pop in a pod and get a glass of beer? I came to this forum to learn more about brewing, how it works. I love reading bits from the compassionate brewers and I take away a little from each. Thanks...

    ‼️GIVEAWAY‼️ of INKBIRD Rechargeable Cordless Vacuum Sealer-New product❗(about $107.98 value)❗

I use my vacuum sealer when we buy large packages of meat and break them down to smaller packages. We grow a big vegetable garden and package them up for the freezer. I seal up opened hops and dry yeast so they will last longer. The vacuum sealer was a life changer for us and the cordless model...

Which yeast produces the least hangover under optimal fermentation conditions?

This has nothing to do with yeast strains, but certain hops would give me heartburn almost as soon as I would drink. Don’t recall which and didn’t get the hang over head ache. Just a thought.

What changes made your beer better?

I started out as a lot did I suspect. 5 gallon kits fermented in a plastic bucket without temp control. I don’t have a fridge large enough for a bucket that big. I’m getting older and the 5 gallons was a lot to carry down the stairs so I started doing 2.5 gallon batches. I have a mini fridge for...

$35 6.5 Gallon Glass Fermenter at Northern Brewer

No money from me or my wife. I don’t think anything good comes from a company getting that big. They just want more and the have the power and money to eliminate competition. The last ad campaign ended it for my wife. She used to be a bud lite fan. No more. Switched over to Yuengling, still...

    Acquiring a used smaller fridge

You’re right about the sides. A lot of newer fridges and freezers put the condenser coils inside of the sides of the case and use the case to dissipate heat. You can tell if this is the case of course by feeling it when it is running or look at the back and bottom to see if the coils are there...

    Revolutionary plastic Fermentation Information

I had a similar email conversation with a customer service person at a company called "Emergency Essentials". They sold 6 gallon plastic buckets with gasketed lids for food storage at a good price and in the description they said food safe. In the back and forth emails he assured me that the...
