    Condensation in chest freezer

Make sure your top seal is working. Put a dollar bill in and close lid. It should be hard to pull out! Sometimes the lid gets twisted a bit or your seals need cleaning!

    Beer not Dispensing

Two things. I find I need to usually cut a turn of the poppet spring off to have less pressure on the seal. I also use a syringe with slits cut in the sides at 90 degrees to each other so the syringe sprays when it is pushed down on the poppets. A box cutter cuts notches great! I always use...

    My RV-based brewing adventures

Okay here we go. I did the rv brewing one winter and took pre-milled grain in a ready made kit in a bag for each planned batch. I had the local water company send me their water analysis and I planned my water around that report. Some batches were all RV resort water while others used purchased...

CO2 Tank Stand Plans or Source

A restaurant plate stacker works perfect. It even has stainless springs for depth. Attach to 3/4 plywood or real wood base and it stands perfect. Go to the scrapers or a restaurant supply place. I got mine from a camp and made a beer dispenser out of stainless frame and a CO2 stand from the...

    My RV-based brewing adventures

    SUMMER SQUEEZE LEMON SHANDY

[First of all I would add water that has been boiled and get the ABV you want. Second of all every brew set up has its own boil off rate so just keep accurate records for a couple of brews and you will be able to dial in your starting volumes. I find 90 minute boils tricky but Beersmith allows...

    Refurbishing some old kegs.

I would suggest checking inside depth of in post and shorten it with a pipe cutter if too long. You need it short so you do not get any back feed on your CO2 line ! If you do this you must passify (oxidize film) on cut part before using! Time will do this on it's own. Just don't cut and...

    Upgrade time??

Why not offer to be shareholders. you buy the malt and the mill and brew together. If that is not in your wheelhouse I would float 300-400 dollars as a starting offer to test the waters. Looks great from here.
