    American cream ale

That reddish brown thread was some good info. I just finished brew Brewers Best Weizenbeir and it has you use 3.3lbs of the extract in the first part of boil and the rest later in the boil, hope that makes it a little lighter. Then again all my extract kits pretty much looked the same.

    Mr Beer Northwest Pale ale

Plan on giving it more time to condition, just tried one just for the hell of it. Got frozen bottles around my 5 gal bucket and its keeping it at72, guess I will add another and see where temp goes to, thanks

    Mr Beer Northwest Pale ale

Taste tested a bottle after one week of sitting in my closet, taste good but has a small rubbing alcohol smell, closest thing I can compare it to, but over all it was clear and taste good. Think fermenting temp got to 80 one day. Would the fermenting temp getting high cause this?

    Beer kit advice.

With 3 brews under my belt. The buckets work good, plan on getting a carboy soon. The advice I have been given is start slow learn how to do the beginner stuff ad move up when comfortable.
