How Many Kegs in your Keezer/Kegerator?

I have three currently 5 gallon kegs. I am the only person in my household so that holds me pretty well. I fill growlers to bring to football games, friends over etc. so sometimes they do go pretty fast. I can fit one more in the well and another on the hump if I ever want to expand/grow

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I brewed #5803 this weekend. I pretty much brewed it per the provided recipe I had a few issues with hitting mash temps with calculated water amounts. It was 29* out when i started bbrewing and I didn't preheat the tun. Lesson learned there. I hit all the other numbers (1.062) and its...

    Keg Wont Carb?

Have approximately 12' Bev Seal lines. This will be the third keg on this line since i built my keezer and the 9th total, including the other lines. All line lengths are the same 12' and at 12 psi. I didn't shake the keg at 30 psi. I just set it and forget it. I do hear CO2 moving into the...

    Keg Wont Carb?

I filled the keg with Star San and pushed it out with CO2. Then used CO2 to push beer into the purged keg

    Keg Wont Carb?

I'm reviving this thread because I am currently having the issue of a keg not carbing. Its been at 12 psi for almost two weeks now and I only have a faint (1/8") head in the glass and very fine bubbles in the glass. I also pushed this to 30 psi for about 24 hours with no improvement. My keg...

Which beer faucets do you prefer and why?

I voted InterTap. Full disclosure, they are the only three taps I've owned. They have been in service since May of this year so they are new still.

    Bottle fillers

@kh54s10 DUDE! All I'm trying to say is that there is an issue with the info they are providing. You don't have to buy this or even consider it. I already own it! Also I was reading some of the reviews and some of them are clearly referring to the counter pressure filler. Here is a screen...

Testing Cooler Before Mash Tun Conversion (plus other equipment questions)

Typically 1.25 or less will give you a stiff mash which helps with protein breakdown and supposed faster conversion of the starches to sugars but the sugars are less fermentable resulting in a maltier/sweeter beer. A thinner mash will leave you with less sparge water as well which can be a...

So here are the images. Pic 1 shows the 3/8" SS wand next to a standard bottling wand Pic 2 shows the 3/8" tubing next to the 3/8" barb Pic 3 shows that the 3/8" bottling wand actually fits inside the wand part of the SS wand Pic 4 shows the inner and outer diameter of the wand Pic 5 shows the...

    Bottle fillers

Different sources can sell the same item. It also states that it uses 3/8" tubing. 3/8" tubing is ID not OD. The OD is close to 1/2" which is the OD of this SS wand. A standard plastic bottling wand fits inside a 3/8" ID hose so it naturally displaces less beer creating the perfect head...

    Bottle fillers

I think this might be referencing the barb only not the diameter of the shaft itself. That is the same one i have and its just too big for bottles
