It's almost a year, in April 2014, since I brewed my first batch of this stuff. I blended it after 6 months witch a fresh 5 gallon batch. The sourness isn't quite where I want it so I'll keep letting it age for a few more months.

This is an older picture but here is my setup. My rims tube is mounted in the middle of the brewstand, and my control panel is in a toolbox. Works great but I'm thinking of getting a better enclosure for the control panel.

Pretty cool enclosure. Mine just has a PVC cap with JB Weld.

I would get the tri clover tube from Brewer's hardware or Glacer. If I had to go back I would also get a cross end as stlbeer suggests. Although the tri clover fittings made it pretty easy do dump and clean everything, dumping would be made even easier by using a cross tee.

I am in business. The Camco element fit like a charm. It's a little tight inside the tube, so I might have to bend the element a little to prevent it from hitting the sides of the tube.
