    Coffee on nitro

Went to a cool coffee/beer bar today and they were serving cold coffee on a nitro stout faucet. It was awesome. After searching online it appears this is becoming a popular trend in the coffee world. Anyway I have a nitro setup and plan on doing this. Any one try it yet at home? Or any...

    Scratched glass Carboy

I have scratches in the kneck of my Carboy. I just finished fermenting a blonde with seemingly no problems. Am I playing with fire? Anyone else have issues with a scratches glass Carboy?

    Experiment with commercial beers?

Ya I was thinking about trying some beers on different woods or maybe a dry hop with hibiscus. But really I don't see why it wouldn't work. If you put them in a keg and then pressurize you should be able to recarb the beer and if you purge the keg and then hit with more c02 you eliminate...

    Experiment with commercial beers?

I've heard of the hop idea. Why would you advise against taking out of the bottles?

    Experiment with commercial beers?

Is it possible and has it been done to test additives on commercial beers instead of brewing a style and then racking to wood, fruit, spices, etc. I'm wondering if you could just buy the base beer that you want to creat a beer off of and then keg and test. Once you have the desired results...

    Recipe pipeline

Use wlp029. Brew a simple blonde ale first and then do an apa or IPA with the yeast cake. It's an awesome yeast and very versatile. I've used it for all the for mentioned styles with great results.

Brew Bucket by SS Brewing Technologies

No but just measuring the space in front if the compressor it would hang over the edge by about 1/2"

Brew Bucket by SS Brewing Technologies

Ya unfortunately it's the diameter. It's roughly 1 to 1 1/2 inches larger so I wouldn't be able to shut the door on the mini fridge. Any ideas on how I could make this work??? I'm all ears.

Brew Bucket by SS Brewing Technologies

Really wanted to pre order one but with the dimensions I've seen I don't think I can get it in my ferm chamber. I currently use a mini fridge and it barely fits a 6.5g glass Carboy. Kinda bummed but eh maybe once I get a freezer to ferment in.

How long does brew day take you?

I agree but brought it up because if I'm more efficient (4 hrs or so per brew) I can brew more. If it takes me half the day there is no way I could brew more than every 4-6 wks due to SWMBO
