DR is all about rum. My favorite was Coco Loco. Coconut milk, crushed coconut, milk and lots of rum. I stayed in Punt a Canada. Forget about beer, drink liquor and smoke hand rolled, locally made cigars and you will have a great time.

I tried a few roggenbiers while in Germany a few years ago. They were very enjoyable. They all had very little banana flavor. Think of them as a dunkelweizen with a light rye spicyness.

Lately I just turn on Pandora and listen to either the Dub Step, Iron Maiden or Rage Against the Machine stations. Sometimes I'll throw in some 90s alternative or gangsta rap.
