So you ruin your batch of beer what do you do?

Bump back up to the top. Seriously no one else has tried it? Hmm.... I may just to it for ****s and giggles one of these days. Maybe even take some of my left over beer at the bottom of my keg and add it to a batch.

So you ruin your batch of beer what do you do?

My batch is fine I've been drinking it with not issues. I was just curious at how creative some were with it if they were or if anyone has tried anything with it other than just drink it. I wouldn't say that I"m so hard up for beer that if I had a bad batch I would keep it. But If I ever do end...

    Can I reclaim Yeast

I haven't heard of it, I really don't think I can but I figured I'd ask anyway. I have a few bottles of Chimay that I brought back with me from Europe. I can see the sediment at the bottom of the bottles. Is it possible to reclaim the yeast in there make a starter and use it for future...

Why is Ice for cooling wort bad?

Awesome feedback great comments and points from all. So far I think I'll stick to using ice to cool down the wort. it's always worked and has not failed me yet. and if I happen to get a bug once from it, it will probably be the same odds as with those that have a wort chiller. See next...

Why is Ice for cooling wort bad?

Just curious as I saw a video that said don't col down your wort with ice? If someone was using a Bucket for the primary and put ice in the bucket, then poured the wort into the bucket onto the ice using the ice to finish up the rest of the 5 gallon batch what would be the problem with that...

    Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale

Cheap beer Vs. good beer is alot like wine. If all you've ever drank is piss poor pilsners that are close to water then you won't appreciate a good full bodied beer. as with wine if all you've ever had is something that came out of a box with a tap. You won't know when you've had a...

First screw up... boy.. with pic

I do my primary in a bucket, then tranfer into a glass carboy for the secondary. I'll probably look into the milk crates now though. So far knock on wood haven't had an issue with the glass. I figure I shouldn't have any issues due to varying temps with my method. Just have to be carefull not...

Belgian Dark Strong Ale Easy Chimay Blue clone

I just put mine into the secondary after two weeks in the primary. For some reason I hit 1.060 OG and after two weeks I have 1.016. Looks like it going where I need it so far. I believe I have a 1.060 in the OG due to putting closer to 6 gallons in my primary bucket as opposed to 5 gallons...
