    So I have this yeast starter and we had this blizzard .

    I made a yeast starter about 3 days ago anticipating a brew day on Sunday, well we had one of the biggest blizzards my city has seen in decades and the brew day was canceled. We are regrouping next Sunday (about a week) is there any hope for the starter or should I just start anew?

    I could most likely. Measured the gravity at 1.026 again beer doesn't taste horribly. I'll be rolling with a secondary for all my batches will be more cautious from here on out though

    Our barometer has a problem staying level because of a piece of plastic at the bottom so it wasn't operator error I've used one before that could stay level and it was fine. So racking it to early have ruined anything? It's our first batch and we have made a number of improvements to our system...

    Yea we had planned on bottling yesterday but I decided to hold off until I looked into it. We primaried for 2 weeks and the secondary is going on 2 weeks as well should I let it settle before bottling?

    I'm using all American hops, Columbus for bittering cascade for aroma was going to try for amirilo for late addition maybe dry hop with Columbus I'm using I believe yp-0001 California ale (may have butchered the name and don't have the recipe in front of me) and it will be a 10 gallon batch
