Pressurized transfers from Fermonster to corny keg

I do it all the time. I modified a lid to add a gas in connector and will run a line from my fermonster spigot to liquid out on the keg, and one from the gas in on the keg to the gas in connector on my modified lid.

Fermentation mini-fridge list (brand and model)?

I had to cut the center piece off the door and a little off the bottom.

    Introducing… the Spike FLEX!

This certainly strikes me as something you "want" and not "need"...and I want one!

    Dangers of Homebrewing

If the OP doesn't respond it's probably because he didn't get the permit and is still in jail...since 2009!

    Closed Loop Fermentation....ISSUES??

Maybe he is capturing the gasses in another vessel/keg and reclaiming them later for carbonation?? I’ve seen several threads where people will use the gas from the FV to purge liquid (and O2) from a SV.

    Tilt hydrometer SG

What does a Raspberry set up do differently than an old phone? I've never considered going that route but I like to tinker.

    Denver and CO Brewery Recommendations

If you go to Ft Collins I personally like Odell’s better than NBel. The patio is far more relaxing IMO.

    Chiller Recommendations

Gotta throw in another vote for the Jaded Hyrda. It's a great product and worth the cost IMO.

Cutting rubber handle off a keg??

I want to try and ferment a small batch (3G) in a keg but it won’t fit in my mini fridge “as is”; however, it looks like if I cut one of the rubber handles off it will slide under the freezer shelf. Half of the keg will still be accessible so I will have room for a spunding valve. Anyone...

    Good kettle for ~3G

I ended up buying this from Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Tramontina-Stainless-Steel-22-Quart-Covered-Stock-Pot-1-Each/19581118 It has a tri clad bottom, is an extra 1/2 gallon, and has riveted handles. The only thing I don’t really care for, and not sure it matters, is a glass top...

What I did for beer today

Had a snow day today so I bottled my small batch stout (only 15 bottles), cleaned 5 kegs (been to busy to both brew and clean!), played around with a LODO dry hop process (been reading the other thread!) and just kinda tinkered. I was going to make a small stovetop batch and glad I changed my...

    Good kettle for ~3G

I think I’m going for the -$60 5G linked from Amazon. I just don’t want to sink >$100 into something I’ll only use occasionally and this one seems more than functional! Thanks for the input and Suggs!

Why are you dry hopping a pepperoni pizza? [emoji1]

    Good kettle for ~3G

I have a cheap 8G that I got at the LHBS when I first started and you can rock that sucker back and forth on a flat surface! It’s basically garbage unless you’re on a propane burner and don’t care if it shakes around! I found a 20qt SS tri-clad bottom (with glass lid FWIW) at Walmart for...

    Good kettle for ~3G

I usually do 5.5G batches outside but decided to do a 2G batch in the kitchen this weekend and really enjoyed myself. I was able to stay inside and spend time with my wife, clean up was easy since the sink is right there, easy to move stuff around, etc. I have a Spike 10G but it’s too big...

You know you're a home brewer when?

You see a new section at the grocery and the sign says, “Brew Perfect” and get excited thinking they opened a home brew section. Read small print underneath large print that says, “...coffee every time” and feel like an idiot.
