    I do all the time and can't tell much difference between it and bottled. However the LHBS said to go buy water because of the chlorine.

    I have been using $1 gallons of Safeway drinking water. Is there really any reason I can't use tap water and boil it? Or is there an additive I can use to improve my tap water? The issues is partially cost but also hassle, 10 plastic water jugs is annoying.

    Buying a used CFC

    Can anyone give me some advice on purchasing a used counter flow chiller? Found it on the Craigslist, 25' for $50. Is there anything I should look for, or test before I buy? Is it worth just buying a new immersion chiller? I found a stainless one for 80 on amazon.
