How do you control flow rate?

It is however fast you want to fill your glass. If i remember correctly 8-10 seconds per pint is the standard rate. Start long and shorten it to the flow rate you want.

    What are you drinking now?

The last pint of my house brown mild from my very recently departed kreezer.

    A moment of silence please

My kreezer died this afternoon. It looks to be a failed compressor. It runs and gets quite hot but the coil inside stays at the ambient temps inside. This is right after finally getting around to redoing all the lines to get consistent pours and to generally clean up everything. Oh well I guess...

    First pour = Bad taste

I don't know the size but I know is anyone has them these guys will. They had everything to rebuild a corny in silicone including the lid o-ring and shipping was only $3. I am just a customer that found their price and service great. http://www.oringsandmore.com/

CM Becker V3S or Perlick 630ss faucets?

I advocate the non flow control no matter the tap and use line length to manage flow. as far as the flow controls, a friend has both Perlicks and Intertaps and doesn't see a difference. I am happy with my non flow control Intertaps and I have run everything from English milds to soda with...

    Size of CO2 tank

Craigslist is your friend on this one, I got my 5lb for $35 with a Taprite regulator, a 20lb for $50 that was full, and another 20lb with 10lb in it for free. It did take some watching but the deals are there and you might get some gas out of the deal. I pushed my first 6 kegs with the 5lb...

using ball lock disconnects on faucet and pass through shanks

They make a female flare to corny post thread that you could just screw onto your existing setup and it's on the gas side so there should be no change to your pours. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004I855H8/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

CM Becker V3S or Perlick 630ss faucets?

I can also vouch for Intertap faucets. They are forward sealing but are internally different than Perlicks, they use a shuttle that slides in line with the seal while Perlicks use a ball on the end of the lever. The biggest advantage to Intertaps are the interchangeable spouts particularly the...

    Cost of CO2?!?

Airgas here in NE Atlanta is $32 for a 5lb and $42 for the 20lb exchange but then they did not bat an eye at the 20lb that I swapped that was 38 years past its hydro date and gave me a brand new tank in its place. No one around hear will refill due to liability.

    What's the lowest safe OG?

You might want to take a look at the "Shut up about Barkley Perkins" blog. He has put a number of war time recipes that are in the 2-3% range.

    1 gallon kegging options

There are a number of options, 1.5 gal torpedo kegs and 1.75 gal cornys would be my first stop.

    Keezer temp probe placement

I just took a look and my fans are 92mm fans rated at 120cfm each, no I do not have any stagnant air. These are 12v fans but there are 120v fans with comparable air flow.

Sanke set up to corny keg set up

Use the Sanke. I use mine with a snap ring for easy cleaning, cleaned 4 today. I do use cornys for secondarys and aging. I use Sankys for serving. If you do make the conversion let me know I would be interested in the old keg and coupler. Oh I forgot to answer the main question, a gas and...

    Keezer temp probe placement

Here is my take on it. If you do not have any air movement I would use the above. If you have a fan that moves a reasonable amount of air (3-80mm fans in mine) I would leave it in air alone. I found less over shoot in temps and more consistent temps over time this way.

Yeah I was speaking of force carbing. I am sure it is possible but being that I have only bottle conditioned once I will pass this to those that have more knowledge on the on the subject.
