    Okey! So no citra... Yeah I usually step the hops after flameout at 168f for 40 minutes because I read everywhere that it will bring more hop flavor ... ?

    Hmm I like IPAs as dry as possible... steep gives more hop aroma then adding at 5-10 min before flameout right?

    Thank you for responding. I ferment in a Fermonster so I had change the "rubber lid" to a lid with a siphon on it...

    Did a closed transfer from fermenter to keg for the first time. The keg was filled with co2, connected siphon to "beer out" and had not opened the valve on the keg, co2 injected into the fermenter and caused a large splash in the fermenter. How much damage do you think has happened? oxidation? :/

    Oh ok! It's my third time using it, I thought they would be really sealed... I can also see now that the krausen is getting bigger and there is more activity going on in there now :)

    Does anyone have an idea what might have happened here? Pitched the yeast 19 hours ago. Over night, it has obviously been fermentation but now it's no activity at all. No bubbles or activity in the fermenter? The yeast is WLP090

    48 hours. Did not see any foam or krausen at all... Been in the refrigerator for six days now :/ ... There is yeast on the bottom

    expired pack of wlp090. No krausen in starter and a Weird layer on top of the yeast? Anyone seen this before? (Might be hard to see in these pictures). Dont know if I dare to use it ?

    Forgot grain in hot car

    Forgot a bag of 2 lbs unmilled grain in my car from 1 pm and took it out the next, how bad is that for the grain... in California weather a humid day? :/
