I am getting 125v across the receptacle when I plug in the element. I thought I read 200v on the other side of the ssr. I will check ring now to confirm

Just checked the ezboil to ssr and I have 12V dc. Now checking the L6-30 receptical I have only 125v when the element is plugged into the controller and 75v when I unplug it. That must be bad since it’s not 240v..right?. Coming off the ssr to the contactor I have 200v. I still have to check the...

what would the pitch rate be on the home brew scale if I were to use the voss? I was planning to use it next batch. I have been wanting to under pitch one of the kevik’s but have not clues what is considered a safe amount. also what temp you ferment at to get the orange esters.

what temp reading do you use as you mash in temp. The probe or the surface temp?

I have been noticing with my electric setup the probe next to my heating element says 156 deg F and 4-5 inches from the top during mash in is reading at 152. Even after stirring. I do a full volume mash. I have been scared to raise the set temp higher than 156. So I am not sure what I would say...

I just upgraded to a new controller and it has a RTD Pt100 probe. I use a brewhardware false bottom and have a 5500w element. Where should I mount the probe? I was thinking at close to the element as possible. I have to drill a new hole in my kettle so I have only one chance to get the position...

I just pull the prv on the keg lid once I tip it upsidedown and all the sanitizer shoots out. Just don’t let all the pressure out keep a constant flow and you will not have to mess with your dip tube. Also the keg lid is the lowest point when you tip it upside down so everything sits right there...
