    Diacetyl rest

I did a blonde ale with a 1.070 OG and a 1.010 FG and I used Safale us05 yeast. Do I have to do a Diacetyl rest for that yeast? please explain. Thanx:mug:

    Yeast

My OG is 1.075 and it is a 5 gallon batch. I haven't bought the yeast yet, I will get the ingredients tomorrow.

    Yeast

I'm doing a Belgian-style pale ale and it calls for Wyeast 1762. Is this a dry yeast? so I won't need a yeast starter?

    Hops

so you recommend putting them in the boil rather then dryhopping them. I did dry them in the garage on a screen for 3 days

    Hops

I grew hops for the first time this year and I yielded about 1 1/2 oz of zeus hops(high alphas, about 15-17%). I would like to try them in a pale ale. Where would I add them to get the best flavor? (bittering, flavoring, or Dry hop)

    Gravity Problem

Thanks, that makes sense. I now have it in a carboy and was going to leave it there for a few weeks to clear before bottling

    Gravity Problem

I brewed an Extract Imperial nut brown ale, I added enough DME and LME to reach an OG of 1.070 in hopes to get FG at 1.010 and get a 7.8%. It was on the Yeast for 8 days with the last 3 days staying at only a 1.022. Question is should I pitch more yeast to reach my 1.010 ?
