The NEW Grainfather Water Profile Tool

I 100% agree. I emailed GF to ask for help. Im thinking it may just be an issue with units of measurement. Im curious what they have to say. It cant be right in Ounces! Do those additions look like they ar ein the ballpark if they were in grams? Thx E

I also thought that...I have read alot about just frozen berries and almost never heard of infection from just throwing them in. Same goes for coffee, coconut, vanilla, cacao etc.

    Hard Seltzer... current wisdom?

I have made BruClaw about 6 times and have learned a few things. Cheap vodka give you a definite alcohol taste that never gets covered up with flavoring. Use good vodka if you can. I use Brewers Best flavorings and had the best luck with blueberry and lemon. Now my dificulity came in serving...

The NEW Grainfather Water Profile Tool

Hi, I could tell that it seemed to be within all tolerances. Mainly because it tastes so good! Here is a screenshot when I try to use my water for a NEIPA. Even with their suggested amounts there are still some salts that are out of the acceptable green range? Hmmm ...Thanks for your thoughts!

Blueberry Beer - should I mix mid fermentation?

The fruit puree needs a week to sit but the extract flavoring can be added right at time of packaging. If your only using extract I recommend the whole 4 oz bottle of the brewers best flavoring. I think that answered your question...I dont bottle but I think adding the extract to the whole...

    Philly Sour

I thought that was too high as well. I have never built a grain bill by %. Should I just slowly drop the weight of each grain to get that ABV lowered to 5.5%? Any other thoughts about my plan? Thanks so much for all your help! I was just watching a David Heath youtube video about a similar...

Cant find this KegLand part anywhere?!?!?!

Good Morning, I 1st saw this option for dryhopping in the Fermzilla here on this forum. I then went on a mission to find the parts. Its basically a plastic T fitting + a carbonation cap + and finally a 3/4" valve. It is made by Kegland and is listed on their website. However apparently they...
