    Warm taps foaming initially

I built a keezer last year and it's been awesome, but I've had a persistent problem with foam during initial pours. I keep my keezer in the garage (no space for it inside and the wife wouldn't particularly care for it) and I live in Texas, so temps inside the garage regularly go into the 100s...

    Homemade Baja Blast?

I've been curious about trying to make some homemade Baja Blast soda, but I haven't found much online about people doing the same. I see that there's a company in Canada that sells what is purportedly baja blast-esque syrup, but they don't ship to Texas. My friends are too impressed with my...

Non-Ideal American Wheat Yeast Choice Question

Howdy friends, I'm about to try brewing NB's summer shandy which a few friends are very excited about. However, the LHBS is fresh out of American wheat beer yeast, and I don't want to order liquid yeast because of the hellish heat here in Texas. While at the store I snagged a packet of WB-06...

what are the best carboy cleaners

The Mark II mentioned here is good, but it won’t work for stuck-on crap IME. For krausen rings and such, I use the Clean Bottle Express. It’s a rod with chamois brushes at the end. You stick it on a drill and go to town on your carboy, kegs, whatever.
