    Aeration Stone??

Is this the same/or similar to the aeration stones you find online at the HBS? Everything seems to be made out of stainless steel but it doesn't state a micron. Was thinking of using it to make a diy aeration wand, what do y'all think? McMaster-Carr: 4402K52

any Military folks here stationed in hawaii or have been stationed there

Was stationed there myself (Hickam AFB) for 4yrs, it was a great assignment, there is a lot to do there than just going to the beaches. I definitely recommend getting off Oahu and seeing the other islands. There is an MWR over on the Big Island, great little resort, I thinks it called KMC, well...

    beer Cases?

Be careful about taking milk crates, just like kegs, they belong to the dairy and I have heard you can be fined for taking them...in some states.

    Amazing Beer Bread

You also use some of your leftover beer out of your bottling bucket or secondary! I have always made this recipe with a flat beer, using the self rising flour, and it comes out great!

    First Batch and having problems

I had the same problem a few batches back, you can try a couple of things shake your primary up a bit to help aerate the beer with the yeast in it sometimes that will help kick start it, or you can just add another packet of the same yeast to it, you might have weak yeast!

    Howdy from Jersey!

Glad I found this site, a lot of great information here, esp. for someone like me! I have been brewing extract kits for about a year now and I think I'm ready to step up to all grain! :mug:
