    Ferment temp fluctuations.

    Recently i started a five gallon batch of cider,and the room i have it in is varying in temperature.The cider is going from about 71 in the day,to about 67 at night.I used nottingham.Will this affect the quality at all?

    How many gallons of homebrew in 2010?

    Since i started brewing in the beginning of 2010 i have brewed, Honey porter Noble Trappist Ale English brown Ale Alt Bier Flat tire English bitter Irish red ale Ipa. So That's 40 gallons.

    Sanitize Wort Chiller?

    I've never put mine in the boil to sanitize,the one time i did it slowed the boil right down to nothing.I just put it in my bucket of Star san a few minutes before I'm about to use it.Plus the star San's acid cleans it real well,It's nice and shiny all the time.After the boil i just rinse it...

    This looks pretty cool,i hate spinning the glass hydrometer and trying to get an accurate reading.For 78 bucks shipped I'm in.Plus it has a thermometer.It should work right?

    I made sure that the Wort in the hydometer was 60F.Maybe the efficiency of the grains was higher than predicted from midwest.,It was 6 lbs lme and some grains.

    first beers in the kegs ?

    I usually do 30psi overnight and It's ready the next night.Then i just turn it down to 10psi and drink.A few times i have had to go a little longer but this has always worked well for me.I'm impatient.
