You don't mean that the CO2 is hooked up into the out post do you? Not sure if I'm reading wrong.... If I'm not the CO2 line should be going into the in post.

I usually do 30psi overnight and It's ready the next night. Then i just turn it down to 10psi and drink.A few times i have had to go a little longer but this has always worked well for me.I'm impatient.

yea i have the co2 going in the out post so it bubbles up though the beer to help carb I though this was standard practice.

Nope. Most homebrewers just connect it to the normal gas input and then shake if they want to increase diffusion.

Breweries tend to use diffusion stones to speed up carbonation of their brews though.

The only potential problem with hooking gas up to the out post is that the connectors are different sizes, so if you hook a gas ball lock connector up to the liquid post it is a royal pain to get it back off.

Yeah I was in the same boat as you were. I'm fairly new to kegging myself, maybe a month or so in. But when I was doing research on it in the beginning I read stories about the disconnects getting stuck on and them being a PITA to get off if they were connected to opposite posts.
