    Yeah, i'm guessing suck back is part of my problem. My keg definitely has a bad seal, but cold crashing a beer that's supposed to hazy isn't something I think I'll need to do moving forward.

    I dumped hops straight in, no bag, no filter. Max contact was 8 days. I did cold crash with pretty good success.

    Maybe, I purged the fermenter before filling it, but I noticed when I poured this beer that the keg was flat, no pressure. It must have leaked air in. [emoji31]

    Could be O2, I hadn't thought of that. The hops aren't nearly as sharp as I think they should be.

    Looking for info on building a NEIPA water profile

    I recently got my water report back from Ward Labs, turns out I have good water for dark and malty beers, less so for hoppy beers. So I'm looking to see if anybody has a water profile that they like, based on 100% RO water. Apologies if this has been gone over a million times.

    @Dcpcooks I didn't know about the yeast. That's fantastic, thank you! Also I totally agree with less color/ malt. The OG/ FG were spot on, but I take your point that if specialty grain goes down something else need to go up to balance it out. It deff needs more aroma hops.

    I think the Munich, possibly the crystal is the color culprit, while I would love my beer to beer more aromatic, the malt/ color are the most obvious "faults" in my estimation. This is the first ever clone I've ever done, so in excited to try again.
