    Keggle Question

Thanks for the input. Do you have to tip the keggle at all to get the last bit of wort?

    Keggle Question

So I've been pretty lazy to getting around to this, but I have a Sanke Keg which I have cut the hole in the top of to convert it to a keggle. I purchased the hardware (thermometer with sight tube, drain tap) and was wondering: What would be the best locations for these to be put in? I'll...

    CO2 Leaking Out of Regulator

    CO2 Leaking Out of Regulator

Alright that's what I'll do then. Yes I just purchased this set from my local brew store. I guess I'll stop by there tomorrow. It's jsut so out of the way! :(

    CO2 Leaking Out of Regulator

Yes, the second gauge keeps climbing. Right up until I close the valve. Is it possible this is something I can adjust or should I get it replaced?

    CO2 Leaking Out of Regulator

Thanks for the reply walker, please see the attacked image. It sprays out of that hole immediately to the right of the knob that you can turn. http://imgur.com/LFB0o.jpg edit: Removed embed. Thing is a massive image.

    CO2 Leaking Out of Regulator

Hey Guys, I just bought my first kegging/CO2 setup. I just kegged beer for the first time and my regulator sprays CO2 and hisses out of underneath the knob/handle you use to open up the CO2. This is a brand new regulator. Is my regulator bad? Is it possibly to fix easily? edit: Perhaps I...

Where can I buy large kegs for a keggle?

It looks like they will ship to Canada, however they are pretty pricey :S (including shipping). I never thought about contacting a local brewery, I'll probably have to give that a shot!

Where can I buy large kegs for a keggle?

I want to brew 10 gallon batches desperately, but I'm having trouble finding a keg I can modify to make a keggle. Anybody know of a place (online, perhaps?) I can buy a Keg for hopefully cheap-ish?

Need some help... and people from around Vancouver here?

Thanks for the reply anyways! I actually had better success looking in the Langley phone book. I found several homebrewing supply stores in Surrey, Langley, etc but I have yet to phone or visit any of them (when I was in a desperate position, it was a Sunday and they were all closed).

Did I Screw up my Maple Pumpkin Ale

I already started brewing this last week when I noticed the recipe called for caramelized pumpkin at @60. It was far too late for me to run to the store and bake it. I decided I'll just add it to secondary. Will this really screw up my beer or will it just be less pumpkiny flavour?

    Will my bottles explode?

Thanks sweetsounds. In primary it was at around 7.2 or 7.6 (can't quite remember). Bottling was 6.1. I really hope I'm not looking at that. I just bought all grolch bottles!!! edit: sorry the hydrometer read around 1.2 or something and the subtraction equaled out to 6.1%. So I think it was...

    Will my bottles explode?

Oh no :(. Well I have the gravity on the same scale... but I don't have the scale here with me. 6.1% is what it was at. Anyone know what that would make the gravity? (since all that's needed is to rotate it and check) Yes the strawberries were stuck in secondary for 6 days as the recipe...

    Will my bottles explode?

I'm still fairly new to the brewing scene, I've only made 4 or 5 batches before. If by gravity you are talking about the hydrometer... then it was 6.1% before I added the sugar at bottling. I used 1 cup of sugar. It was a normal bucket size (5 gallons?). I assume I shouldn't have added as...

    Will my bottles explode?

I just made my first fruit beer, (it was a recipe from here) a Strawberry Wheat Ale. It called for 8lbs of frozen dole strawberries but I used 8lbs of real ones. Anyways, last night was day 5 of being in bottles and the carbonation is strong. I'm using grolsch bottles and I heard it's...

Need some help... and people from around Vancouver here?

I'm looking for a brew store like Dan's homebrew supply but somewhere in the fraser valley (langley, surrey, abbotsford, etc). Anyone here from the area and able to help me out?
