CBS Nano 20 pot and basket

I am selling my Colorado Brew Systems Nano 20 gallon pot and basket only (no other accessories). This setup has the whirlpool option and was purchased new in November 2017. I am upgrading to the 25 gallon pot. It also has the upper 1.5" TC port for a condensation system...

    Yeast Substitution WLP090

I appreciate the info. I made the starter but did not see a lot of activity. I put it in the fridge for a few days and took it out tonight. I may just give it a shot. I am brewing a honey blonde ale in the morning.

    Yeast Substitution WLP090

Does anyone know of a dry substitute for White Labs WLP090 Super San Diego yeast? I am not confident in my starter and I am brewing tomorrow.

    Unboxing the Penguin Chiller

I am acutually Kegging 10 gallons of a blue moon clone as we speak.

    Unboxing the Penguin Chiller

No. The kegs have a small detent at the bottom of the pickup tube so 99% or more is purged from the keg. The beauty of Star San is it does not affect the beer at all. Now i wouldn’t leave 1/2 gallon but it’s harmless in small quantities and I know my kegs are sanitized and O2 free.

    Unboxing the Penguin Chiller

I purchased the Micro spray ball which works great with the $149.00 chugger pump. You will need a 6" to 3" tri clover adapter for the spray ball. I use all camlock fittings on my setup. I also converted the Co2 stone barb to a ball lock fitting to connect my Co2 easily while carbonating...

    Unboxing the Penguin Chiller

I have only done 10 gallon batches so far. I figure its the same amount of work and cleanup so I might as well make ten gallons!

    9.2 CF Haier

Yes that size collar will work.

    9.2 CF Haier

Converted the 9.2 Haier. Paid $239 for the new freezer and it comes with casters. I added a 10 inch collar which allows for 8 five gallon corny kegs, Love controller and a magnetic drip tray.

Unboxing the Nano from CO Brewing

I know you can do a 35# in the nano 20 but that is the max.

Here is a pic of the whirlpool option. I just keep my eye on the sight glass and never let it drop below 5 gallons. I only perform an initial stir. I ALWAYS use 1lb of rice hulls( 10 gallon batches). I like the solid sided basket. It ensures that all the water is passing through the grains...

Unboxing the Nano from CO Brewing

I definitely love the footprint of this setup. And I Love only cleaning one pot! My temp probe is under the basket and being recirculated. From there it goes right on top of the mash so that gives me an accurate mash temp.

Doubling Down: SS Brewtech Conical + FTSS + Glycol Power Pack

If you don't want to spend the money on a glycol chiller and you don't want to cold crash, the aquarium chiller would be the next easiest solution. You could probably get away with a 1/10th HP and those are around $300.00 plus the pump. If you have room in your keezer, the keg would be the...

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

WOW. 8lbs of mangos for 5 gallons! Do you make a puree or just drop in pieces? Very curios to know how this turns out. I have 10 gallons of this brew in the fermenter right now.

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

I tried to single source but in the end had to use four vendors. I think Bobby has the 1.5 bulkhead in stock now but you still need a T. Still have to use 3 vendors.

Unboxing the Nano from CO Brewing

I have the whirlpool option and the SS manifold. I just brewed 10 gallons yesterday and as usual the temp was rock solid at 152 degrees for the entire 90 minute mash. Normally I have to do small adjustments on the flow with a heavy grain bill but yesterdays was light and ran wide open the...
