    Corny Cooler Portable Kegerator

I've been looking and looking for a water cooler that would fit a corny but most are just inches shy of fitting it in with the lid... i wanted to put a tower on the lid.. i thought i saw one on this forum i guess not. I think i'll go with this.. but cut the lid in half and seal the bottom...

Mr Beer - Read all about it and ask questions

I like plastic because you can give the squeeze test. They get tighter or harder as the co2 builds up pressure in the bottle. There is no difference in using glass but you cant squeeze test.

Never have an issue with aggressive fermentation/blow off. Is this normal?

I once made a 2000ml flask yeast starter for an ipa (1.06?) and had blowoff. My bucket of sanitizing solution looked as if i put an aerator in it. You know like one of those stones that you see producing bubbles in fish tanks.. +1 on the "more fun to watch than any tv show".

Insane OG. I guess this is sort of what I asked for.

Yeast isn't the issue... Barley wines tend to need some time to age a bit before they are ready to serve. You keging or bottling? I would bottle some and age it.

    Help me like IPAs...

Verify CO2 gauge and other CO2 woes

Thats good. My reasoning around the long lines is that if the temps are different along the way I think it could cause the foaming... Depending on how your Kegerator is setup. Are your lines rolled up nice and contacting eachother?.. or are they all over the place. I imagine that if you keep...

    Product watch?

So i was browsing the inter-webs when i came accross this fantastic idea.. a foldable fridge? Basically as long as you can rig soemthing to hold it up you can probably lager two carboys (or better bottles....) at one time... And you can fold it away when your done. I really hope this flies and...

    Imperial IPA hop advice

Man thats a lot of hops.... I usually do... 1oz 60 min top of boil and add 1oz every 15 min. And then either put one more oz at 5 min. Left or put it in the secondary... Though my IPA's have been labeled more in the style of ESB... I may try to move the additions to the last 15 minutes and add...
