    Grape Vine Propagation

Go here http://ngr.ucdavis.edu/index.cfm Find something you like, follow the list of nurseries that sell those varietals then ask how much a minimum bundle costs. I think you'll be surprised.

    Aked about homebrewing again.

After yakking at a rep at Midwest one day - as an afterthought - I asked if they could send a couple extra catalogs to me seeing as though I'm always giving my old ones away to curious folks. They sent me a 20 stack. I work at a winery so, after that, when people ask me where I got started/...

    Thin plum wine

If you were planning on sweetening it, that will lend it some mouthfeel. I have heard that using different types of sugar will give you some complexity on the body.... I have never tried this so I can't say for sure. If its flabby (no acidity) you could add citric or and acid blend. Also...

    Grape Vine Propagation

Great list, exactly what I would have suggested. I would also suggest Cayuga White picked early for a nice Riesling-like blender. I'd also look into Seyval in Jersey.

    Sulfite effectiveness window after crush

How is it going today? How's the smell? If you are still not seeing activity, try to aerate. This will bind up some SO2 and reintegrate any pools of yeast colony bunched up in your fermentor.

    Grape Vine Propagation

Its possible, but at $4-5$ a vine and the assurance of viable plants, I'd go with store bought. This also allows you to play with multiple varietals making it easier to find the one that grows best on your land. For the 1/4 acre experimental vineyard I started a few years back I had the...

    Greeting from Colorado wine country!

Thanks for the welcome, Xeno. Have you guys tried Carlson's Riesling and Gewurtz? I am a little biased but, for the semi-sweet style (Rhone), I think ours is the best in Colorado. Are you guys growing Tempranillo in the Springs?
