What temperature was the wort when you measured? I ask be cause if it was 100 degrees you can add +7 to your OG.

I get, a mixture of that's legal, and puzzled why face. People close to me know don't even ask. My other hobby is reloading, casting and shooting IDPA and USPSA. Yeah my garage is littered with some pretty awsome stuff.

Great advice guys. I was thinking about giving the a douse of orange cleaner to cut the oil, then a bbrite or pbw and starsan treatment.

Just received 2 new ball lock corny kegs. My question is they seemed to be coated with an oil or some waxy coating, what should I clean them with? If it helps the we're purchased from AIH. Thanks, Brian
