Been meaning to contribute to and bookmark this thread. In my limited experience, hop flavour is easy enough, hop aroma is end of the rainbow stuff. It takes a ton of hops and doesn't last long. Aroma is evanescent. The other problem is it's never enough for a hophead. Give the same beer...

The probe is too high up. Cold air falls, warm air rises. Get it down on the floor of the fridge where the coldest air is, at a minimum, so it's always reading the coldest air in there. That way it will cycle less. Works for me. The problem with taping it to a keg is 19l/5gal liquid takes...

There Is a sort of nick in the outer bag near where the hole in the Saaz pouch is but it's not actually broken so maybe it took aknock which somehow punctured the pouch inside without puncturing the outer bag. Not impossible and starting to think it's more likely than the warehouse guys trying...
