bought a shirron chiller . dont have pump and only one burner which is very close to the ground (about a feet) do you think i should place the burner a bit higher or do you think the flow will do its job? thanks:confused:

i want to buy the shirron chiller but i only have a regular (not food grade) aquarium pump. could i use it with the shirron to pump ice water?

something strange is happening to my slants in incubation . as you can see in the picture the left slant is disconnected . what do you think is the problem (maybe to much agar agar)?

i made some slants yesterday .most of the liquid slanted but there is still a small amount of liquid that wont slant. do you think i should start over?
