Did you cage the corks, if not they will push out under pressure.

Capping it would've created to much pressure buildup and possibly blow. Better to just make sure airlock is full of vodka at all times.

Wire wisk are made to incorporate air into what ever you use it with. Use a cut wire hanger on a drill works best for home made.

You didn't use Splenda as your priming sugar did ya? Bottle aging is perfectly fine. Bulk age is better but since you are carbing you can do the latter. As far as the fajc do it to taste, but remember the yeast is gonna eat up the sugars in the juice and its gonna be drier than bottling day. I...

If you don't degas you're gonna get to much sediment in your bottles. You want as much to drop as possible. Now you're not gonna get it all and that's what's going to carb it up for you. So don't degas and get a 1/4" layer in your bottles that will turn to floaters like a lava lamp or degas and...

    How best to sweeten cider?

All depends if you want still or sparkling. Do let it dry out and then back sweeten with fajc and brown sugar. Look for upstatemikes Carmel cider, great recipe and simple as all get out to do the wife will love it. Also you could try your hand at a apfielwein also very delicious.

    Welch's Grape Juice Wine

I put half cup per gallon, some will do more or less. You can put them straight in or in a bag for easy removal. Chopping them is best.

    Carbing and Bottling Cider

Honestly I'd let it ferment out. That way there is no hassle of figuring out where to try to bottle. Take it to .999 and let it clear, add your priming sugar which is only gonna be like 1/2-3/4 cup to your bottling bucket and do it that way. Just fill a Plastic soda bottle to check carbonation...

    Welch's Grape Juice Wine

I add raisins to secondary for at least 6-8 weeks if not longer. Then top it off with more juice if need be for back sweeting and flavor.

    Lagering cider?

Lagering produces a much cleaner tasting drink and let's more developed flavor come out. Don't see why you couldn't get a better cider from lagering let us know how it comes out.

If you want to carb don't use finings. I use 1/2-3/4c priming sugar per 5g.
