    I bottled a chocolate stout using priming sugar tonight. I made the mistake of boiling my priming sugar for about 2 - 3 minutes instead of the recommended 5 mins. Will this have a huge affect on my finished beer or will it be a subtle under carbonation? I'm pretty worried!

    Great! Thanks you! So basically, a yeast starter is yeast that has already started doing its job on a smaller sample of wort. Can you just pitch the liquid yeast or does it have to be added after starting?

    I have been using a one step, no rinse cleanser as part of my sanitizing routine. A fellow brewer suggested powdered brewers wash instead. Any thoughts? Which do you prefer and do you use PBW the same way as the one step. Thanks for any input!

    Does any body have any advice on how to sanitize a hop sack. I'm going to add one to my secondary and don't want to ruin a batch that I have high hopes for.
