I just looked a corny Spartanburg keg (ball lock) .. that is next in line for putting some beer in. I got a beverage out (black) connnection and tried it several times. When I put my connections on .. I use my thumb and index finger to pull the bottom of the ball lock snap on connection up...

Not like a handtruck - just a rolling dolly. Needed a wide footprint and stability for conical stand legs to minimize possibility of tipping or turn over when conical full of wort. The stainless steel stand legs are braced and held in position to keep from tipping. Does a good job.
