    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

I have the 17" portable one, and love it! I got a conversion hose to go from 1lb. bottles to a normal 20lb tank. Made buffalo chicken cheesesteaks last night with it. I saw one of that guys videos from Vegas, and they're coming a with a 50" or 54" version.

    Experiences with pellet smokers?

I have seen a few, for now I put it on a movers dolly and used a couple of U bolts to hold it in place.

    Experiences with pellet smokers?

Ended up going a different direction, and pulled the trigger on a GMG Davy Crockett. I really only ever smoke meat for myself, so the smaller size isn't an issue, and I really like the portability of it. Just did a quick meatloaf this afternoon before the supposed storms roll in.

    Oak aging question

Planned on brewing oak aged stout back in September, but life got in the way. I soaked some oak in bourbon prior to brewing, thinking that would be enough time for the oak to soak up some of the bourbon. I just got around to brewing the beer, and still have the oak soaking. My question is...

    Bru 'n Water question

Just got my water report and started playing with bru 'n water. In the water adjustments tab it says when values are within 5ppm the cell will turn green. Mine does not. The values change when making adjustments though. I'm wondering if this is just an excel issue? I'm running excel for Mac 2011...

Home Depot bucket used by LHBS for weighing grain

For measuring and catching the milled grain I've always used a couple of the orange homer buckets. I seem to remember a thread around here that some people use them for storing their grain.

    Belle Saison attenuation

Used this yeast a few weeks ago. It went from 1.070 to 1.004 in less than a week. Kegged it recently and it tastes great. Starting temp was around 66F and let it warm up in its own.
