Thanks! What yeast did you use for fermentation after the Lacto?

I am going to be using the Omega Lacto Blend for a kettle sour this weekend and wondering if anyone has had any experience with it? Tips, tricks or things to know? Starter/no starter? Lactic acid to drop pH before pitching? Brew on!

So this is a 5 gallon refillable water jug from my local grocery store. It states on the bottom that is should not be used for any other liquid but from looking online I don’t know why I couldn’t use it in place of a PET carboy. Any thoughts or known issues?

So if I want to wash out some glass car boys you would recommend not using PBW at all or just not letting it soak in the PBW?

Thanks! Didn’t know that about the aluminum! Do you just wipe them down with PBW or just use a different cleaner on that stuff?

Good to know! I have it hooked up to a smaller chest freezer, think I’ll be alright in the long run? I have had it plugged in for about 2 weeks now with no issues.

Do you recommend always going that high with the water temp? The bottle I got recommends about that temp as well but wondering if there is anything negative to colder water? Thanks for the advice!

How long do you usually soak? Also do you usually just rinse with water?
