    Moving to 10 gallons!!

I'm assuming you got a larger boil kettle? You'll need to figure out your boil off rate-each pot is different. That will determine your starting volume. Since you are doubling the size Of the batch, you will need to increase the amount of grain/extract you are using. This is where gravity comes...

Brewday done! except for the cleanup. Missed mash in by a few degrees, but corrected it. Boiled off a bit more than usual, too. Had some great break, unfortunately a lot of it ended up in the carboy. I couldn't get the wort chilled below 74degF being so hot outside. Also got a bit of...

Czech Premium Pale Lager Carlvar Pilsner (2B Bohemian Pilsner)

I just brewed this as a 3 gal BIAB, using WLP800. It’s currently chill in at 51 degF and seems to be going great. It was surprisingly easy to hit all my temps! This is also my first lager. How long should I keep it at this temp? Is the d-rest before or after the lagering period?

    Northern Brewer

Northern brewer has always been my go-to for ingredients and equipment. Fast and efficient. And they have everything I need. My favorite part is that they have replied to every email Facebook post and tweet.

    Abita Turbodog clone

I’ve brewed this a few times, always with a different result. last batch was entirely too bitter. my bad though, didn’t calculate the hop additions right. I;m gonna use the Big Brew Day recipe to try and recreate it as well! I always use wlp029, but have never dry hopped it. never came close...

    Adding lemon to secondary

I'm trying to make a lemon-ginger cream ale. I have now only the fermented cream ale and I'm looking for tips/advice on how to get the lemon in. I've done ginger before in secondary, rough chop, frozen then added to secondary. Not sure how much/what parts to put in. Any stories??
