    A friend from Sacramento brought this by. Not bad. ESB meets Amber.....light bodied, little hop nose and bitter/dry finish. Some burlap glued to the bottleneck....like in the olden days when you didn't want to loose your drink while on horseback.

    4 Lammsbrau dunkels in the name of research. I'm going to break in my DIY stir plate and see if I can get a starter going from the dregs. Not many commercial lagers are bottle conditioned these days. Little Sumpin' on deck.

    I wouldn't worry about an infection since you kept it covered. If you are using it soon, just cap the JB bottle and store it in the fridge. If you are planning on storing it longer, I'd decant into a mason jar, top it off, put on the lid and store in the fridge until you are ready to use. The...

    Yes, it is! I dry hopped it a little more (5oz amarillo 4 days) and soaked 8oz of French oak cubes for 24 hrs. This lands somewhere between Pig and Pliny with a little edge from the oaking.

    I usually go with 3724 in the low 90s for my saisons and decided to give the belle a try this time.
