Is it me, or is it.....?

You should send the remaining beers to me; I'll let you know which of your impressions was right

    Mounting Regulators

Don't quote me on this (could be totally wrong), but I don't think there's any mechanics in the door, so you might be able to mount it there

New way to control Pellet Hop gunk!

Well, I ordered mine on Tuesday, got it in the mail today. Welds look ugly as hell (off-colors, etc), but overall it seems sturdy and there's a ton of weld spots, so nothing's coming loose; seems the guy uses two mesh screens instead of one, the whole thing feels solid in the hand. I threw it...

Going from carbed keg to bottle - any problems?

Gah, I'm an idiot; I was looking at the calendar and didn't realize it was October 11, not Nov 11. My bad, thanks for pointing out my brain fart :p

Going from carbed keg to bottle - any problems?

I was just invited to a Thanksgiving day dinner, and wanted to bring some homebrew along. Problem is, I only have two beers and they're both fermenting but only have 2 weeks in the fermenter (NB Pumpkin Smash and Black IPA), so time is short and I'm wondering if I can rush the beer a bit so I...

    Liquor dispensing

As liquor comes out, air has to be allowed into the bottle to replace it; more than likely you'd have to have a tap that allows air into the bottle, which beer taps don't do EDIT - thinking about it a bit more, a bottling bucket faucet should do the drink just fine; a normal beer tap might work...

Safale-05 at higher temps - what happens?

Just wondering if anyone has worked with Safale at the upper recommended range (package says the yeast should be fine up to 75F). I have two beers fermenting right now, around 72F - I checked the temp during active fermentation via fermometer strips on the bucket, it never rose above 73F, and I...

    Copper or stainless

Copper; much better heat properties than SS

New way to control Pellet Hop gunk!

I've been following this thread for awhile now, read all the posts - no one's done a comparison except for 200 vs 300 and 200 seems a tad small

Basic question from a new brewer

Basic question from a new brewer

The gas is CO2, carbon dioxide, it's given off by yeast as they eat the sugar (they're farting). The CO2 they give off, if trapped in a bottle, will eventually go back into the beer, giving it carbonation. With kegs, you can use sugar, but you'll be using less sugar than you would if you were...

Been holding on to Dead Ringer (Two Hearted) ingredients all summer

Northern Brewer reviews are almost all 5-star; the DR is next on my list of extract kits to buy when my fermenters are empty/ready, along with the White House Honey Porter

Took the plunge, just bought a kegging set up - did I get everything?

The T752 is a dual gauge regulator - I figured that I could set one dial to carbing pressure and another to serving pressure? If I get more kegs in the future (very likely), I was figuring on putting a manifold in.

Took the plunge, just bought a kegging set up - did I get everything?

Well, I did it, so did I forget anything besides keg lube and tubing? - 2 new ball-lock kegs from Beverage Elements (come with the dual rubber handles that used/refurbs ones have) ($5 coupon, kegit2012, makes it cheaper than buying from the BE storefront on Amazon by only $5.05). - Taprite...
