Am shooting for a Pete's Wicked ale clone

I just used the calculator and lowered the 60 min to .5 oz, changed the next to 1oz at 5 mins, flameout is still .75 with .5 dry hop....this configuration yields a IBU of 20.6 Wess

Thanks so much...I checked their website a little while back and it would only give a breief description of the flavors, certainly not the details you just posted and it also said something about a new website in the making...I can lower the IBU by decreasing the hop amounts or times but I'm...

    NB nut brown ale

Thanks for the reply...I'll give it 2 weeks and see where it's at....my mention of the color being so dark was merely an observeation, not a concern...I really didn't expect it to be so dark, but it "is" only day 1. FWIW my OG read 1.050 @ 76 degrees Wess

WessB another newbie in College Park, Md

I joined a little over a month ago, and have learned plenty from this site so far. When I joined I knew absolutely nothing about brewing beer, and in fact was not even an ale drinker...more of a burned out CBM drinker who gave up on beer a couple years back. On the recommendation of some other...
