    OK. I'm done letting my beer sit in the garage while praying to the temperature gods for mercy.

    If you are up for a small DIY I would recommend using a small fridge a building a fermentation area to your desired dimensions. Though having said that the chest freezers allow you to cold crash nicely.

    I use the 12 oz cans. but yes to use 16 oz can you pull up the bottom plate and remove all the washers and replace them with the extra ones that come with the seamer ( 16 oz set) that way you can easily switch between the 2. The lid end stays the same, as it's the bottom that changes height...

    Tilt users - have a question/need help

    I did the raspberry pi route. It works amazing, I have mine set up with a screen so when one walks by than can instantly see the readout like the phone app. and when i'm not around i can check the progress from my phone or computer via the google sheet.

    My Guess would be less efficient heat transfer between the metal and the pvc tubing. It would then Require a longer run to cool the beer to desired temp,creating less space for ice. I do not know how much of a difference it would make IW if it only required like 10 more feet totally worth...
