    Used Corny Supply Running Out!

I got lucky last year and picked up 12 unconditioned pin locks for $10 each off of CL. I've reconditioned about half of them with the rest in my garage.

    Pin Lock vs Ball Lock

Unless your pressure regulator decided to bite the dust and dump the CO2 completely unregulated, pin locks are fine as they are rated to about 120PSI I believe. Even then its more likely one of the gas or liquid lines would rupture, resulting in a mess but not an exploding keg.

    Dr. Pepper Clone

I have a buddy who gets Dublin Dr. Pepper for his bar from Party Time Beverage in Austin. This is the good stuff made with Imperial Cane Sugar. $75 for a 5 gallon box of syrup. http://www.partytimebeverages.com/index.html

    Damn Austin Homebrew Supply!!

I was in the AHB store today and spent the least amount ever, just $20 for a pair of pinlock disconnects and a few other small things. With both AHB and Kegconnection being within a 40 minute drive of where I live, I'm always spending money. :-P

What are the pros/cons of this kegging setup?

I can understand not wanting to drill holes in your refrigerator as I'm the same way. Buy a dual keg kit setup with party taps from one of the many vendors. It's what I'm using for now until I get ready to build a keezer or a walk-in cooler for my garage. I recommend Kegconnection and Austin...

    Glycol Chiller operating cost

    (amps)X(volts)=(watts) 11.5 amps X 115 volts = 1322.5 watts Divide by 1000 and you get 1.3225 Kw/hour when running

    How Many KEGS?

Thanks, you had me going with the one-up-manship thing. :-) I most likely won't start on the walk-in cooler for a few months as I've got several projects I need to start on soon that will take priority. I've got a couple of cars that need some work (track prepping one, fuel pump for the...

    I LOVE Kegconnection

Since I'm close by, I just drive to pick up my orders. With that said, they are constantly busy. It's like a small beehive with everyone running around putting orders together. When I was down there last week Todd mentioned he was adding a couple of new employees to help out. -Richard

Can i swap out my beer lines mid keg?

The easiest method I can think of would be to use ball lock and a pin lock disconnects with MFL screw on quick disconnects. That would allow you to pop off the liquid out disconnect from the current keg, remove it from the line and change over to the other disconnect for the second keg. Your...

    How Many KEGS?

I'm still new to the kegging thing but I love it over bottling for sure. Like everything else I do, I go all out. I started off with a single ball lock setup and 2 weeks later sold it to a friend. I then bought a 4 ball lock setup with dual regulators (one for sodas). This past weekend I...

    I LOVE Kegconnection

I've bought all my kegging equipment from Todd at Kegconnection and love the service and the prices. Thankfully I'm only an hour away, so I can drive down to pick the stuff up the same day that I order it. -Richard
