I want to do an imperial stout next, and his is what I am thinking for a recipe:
15 lbs 2 row pale
2 lbs flaked barley
1 lb roasted barley
1 lb crystal
.5 lbs chocolate
.25 lbs black patent
And for hops I was thinking East Kent Goldings. Haven't worked out the schedule yet. Suggestions?
I got a turkey fryer for my birthday (propane boils water SOOOOOO much faster than an electric stove), and brewed up my first AG batch yesterday.

My lhbs had a bag that has a round bottom that fits into a 30 qt turkey fryer perfect! Just did my first AG batch. Just as easy as extract, just more time consuming with the mashing.
